Following PM Modi's announcement to extend Corona's lockdown across the country till May 3, the Ministry of Civil Aviation said that all domestic and international flights will be suspended till 11.59 pm on May 3. At the same time, according to the Ministry of Railways, 'All passenger train services of Indian Railways including premium trains, mail / express trains, passenger trains, suburban trains, Kolkata Metro Rail, Konkan Railway etc. will be suspended till May 3. Tejas and Mahakal railways canceled till May 3
The Rail Tourism and Catering Corporation (IRCTC) Tejas Express between Lucknow and Delhi and the Mahakal Express between Varanasi and Ujjain will be canceled till May 3. Yet these trains were canceled until April 30th. Ashwani Srivastava, regional manager, IRCTC, said the decision on advance booking would be taken in a couple of days.
